We started The Teesider because we were tired of reading about Teesside through the lens of outsiders. Too often, local news means crime reports, council cuts and controversy. We knew there was another story — the cafe that just opened on a quiet side street, the local founder who just landed their first big contract, the community group that transformed an empty lot into something beautiful.
